Paid groups are also now available in the app wherein the creator of the group chat can set a monthly entry fee to its members or joiners in the group chat.
In addition, adding users to a group chat can now be done through a link. Creators of group chats also have the option now to delete messages for everyone and mute the chat that they’re in. Additionally, the app now has the power to freeze group chats wherein the admin is inactive. On the other hand, just like the Spaces feature in the social media platform X, this app also has a Radio feature wherein the host can allow up to 2,000 listeners.
The app also hosts a weekly Radio show called Clapper Talks wherein they feature a certain creator to discuss their content with the listeners. Another updated feature is earning a commission after a friend you refer starts earning through the app. However, the app doesn’t offer post-editing features, which is not ideal for those looking for advanced editing tools in a video app.
